Barton 2500 OC issue here

I got the following:

Barton 2500+ (stepping aqxea)
Asus A7N8X Deluxe Rev 2.0
Geil PC 3500 Dual Channel DDR 1gb kit
PNY Gefore Ti4600
Sound Blaster Audigy
Thermaltake 420wt PSU w/ PFC
Segate 80gb SATA 8.5ns seek

With tons of reading the barton 2500 with this stepping should be able to do the 200mhz clock speeds with 2200mhz but my comp has been doin some odd crashes. It will boot into windows ok but either when loading a game of closing a game I'll get the blue screen. During the game it runs great. I couldnt do the benchmark 2001se even in stock setting but the games runs fine at that the stock setting. I believe that this a compatibility issue.

For this CPU, what should my voltage be for 200mhz clock cycle? I just put it at 1.8 volts today but havent tested it yet. Since Im using the slk947u and the tornado 92mm fan, my cpu temp has yet to break 50c. Any other ideas and suggestions would be great. Thanks...

Umm...i think the Barton runs at 1.65v...definitely not 1.8 as far as I know. I have a 2500+ @ 3200+ with no problems whatsoever :)

Are you running at 3200 with 1.65 volts?

Yep, here's the proof ;)  (note that in the BIOS it reads, 1.65 but in CPU-Z 1.648)

As far as I knew this was perfectly normal. I've run Prime95 overnight on it to test it and everything works fine. :)

I don't actually know. I just noticed CPU-Z puts in A's on that pic.

Should really use another program. It's just a 2.5+ Barton with the FSB set to 200 (400)

221x11.5 huh. What vdimm and vcore setting are you using?

Just had a wierd idea here. Since Ive been trying to achieve 200mhz, that means ive been hitting 40mhz in the pci bus and thats too high. Im aware of wat the clock should be at but on the A78X-Deluxe, where do you adjust the pci bus?

Isn't there a lock on PCI and AGP on that board?

I thought that the nforce 2 chipsets autolock the pci and agp to 33mhz no matter wat you push the fsb, but leave it to the mobo companies to put jumpers or bios setting to change that. The friggin manual as useless it is does not have and info in this topic. Id bet if I set the fsb to 190 itll be stable but Id rather have 200.

i also run my athlon 2700+ at 3200 speed with 200fsb
at 1.65v with no problem and stock cooling. :)

My own beast: Athlon 2700xp+ , Radeon 9800pro (oc: 410/370) , 512mb ddr400. SO MUCH faster than my father pIII 550......

Looks like either I have a bad ram slot or a bad ram chip. I did the memtest86 and it made over 160000+ errors on test 5 and 27 on test 6. All errors were with tests that exceeded 514mb. I need to research this over but any info yalll have on this would be great.

Hmm figures,

Could you give me a list of dual channel ran that I could use on this mobo?

try pumping up the vdimm to 2.7-2.8v that should help.

Its already at 2.8v but I think that one of the chip maybe defective for the memtest hoses on test 5 with the anything over 512mb.
