Hello,
CHANGED FROM WINDOWS XP TO WINDOWS 7 AND THIS IS THE MESSAGE I RECEIVE WHEN TRYING TO PLAY MUSIC IN WINDOWS MEDIA
The license cannot be downloaded because your Web browser is not supported.

To download a license, you must install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later.

To install the latest version of Internet Explorer, see the Windows Update page.

Check this link for some possible help:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-xp/help/windows-media-player/11/album-info

Also, consider this:

You just stop Windows Media Player from searching for the licenses. Go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Privacy tab ->

Uncheck the first three -> Display media info from the internet -> Update music files info from the internet -> Download usage rights

On the Player tab uncheck -> connect to the internet

Thanks for all your help and pointing me in right direction
stopped Windows Media Player from searching for the licenses.
Went on to web and downloaded migrate Licence and all is fine.
Perhaps I forgot to mention it was a new computer and you obviously need a licence for each computer!
