major issues!!

Today I was going to install SUSE 8.2 as my secondary OS. I downloaded the boot ISO and burned it. The booted off of it to begin the network install. My network card wasn't listed so I booted back into windows to find the correct module. This is where the problems started. My USB mouse didn't appear to be getting power, no light was on. So I tried all my other USB ports and tried accessing my USB printer. Nothing worked. I took my mouse off my computer and tried it on another and it worked fine, so the USB ports have to be bad. I didn't want to do an entire format and install of Windows so I just did a reinstall of it on the same partition so that my installed programs would work.

This didn't solve anything, the USB ports are still dead. I reinstalled the VIA 4in1 drivers for the motherboard, still nothing. If anyone knows what could be the problem please let me know, otherwise I will be doing a complete format and install on Monday.

I checked that and it hadn't changed the setting, but to be safe I changed it rebooted and then put it back in USB mouse mode.
