I'm thinking of changing my heatsink and fan from my Vantec (which works great) to a Zalman Znps7000(going for silence) for my P4 on a Abit IC7-G board. My question is.... is this done easily? I used Arctic silver 3 paste, do I just need to scrape this off? will my old Vantec heatsink come off easily? Just wanted to get some opinions before I invest in new equipment....thanks. I'm also buying 3 SilenX 80mm case fans, I hear they are great for the price.

BTW- is anyone out there using this Zalman heatsink on an IC7-G? the Intel 875p chipset fan is placed awefully close to the CPU,and it was a very tight fit getting my Vantec to install....I know the Zalman is very big, so I'm a bit worried about this fitting.
i bought this heatsink last week. All you need to do is take the old heatsink off. Rub off the old paste with alchole and a clean cloth and apply the new thermal grease.
make sure the new clips are in well then put the heatsink on makeing sure its level and touching the processor. quite easy and quick to do.
