DHCP server is configured and running where? On the Linksys or on the
netserver??

It does not really matter since the problem seems to tied to the DSL
connection timing. Linksys may have a setting to time out the Internet
connection if in-active for xx time.

Try to connect directly to the Linksys router - open IE to
http://192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.0; else, make an ethernet connection to
router and try the same.
Otherwise, try to reset the router - visit Linksys webpage. Worst, you had a
faulty router firmware upgrade... you'll have to RMA the router. Post back
about Linksys, might be something else - two DHCP servers, for ex.

That would be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 IF the subnet was left in the
default mode.

Whoops,
I was thinking of Netgear router... having both Netgear and Linksys :( The
firmware issue is Netgear related.
