I have downloaded ISO software to include but not limited to (Windows XP PRO) off of shareware sites in the past, but do not understand what procedures I need to take to use it... What does ISO mean and how do I use it? Where can I go to educate myself on ISO...

iso's are images made of cd's by cd burner software you can burn a cd with them by for ex. open Nero go to file, go to burn image select it then navigate to the iso and begin the burn process..... do a google search for software called isobuster to look in the iso file to see the file structure etc you can also mount an iso to a virtual cd drive using utilities likedaemon tools
