Trying once more as my posts dont seam to be going through

I am wondering if I can move the updates from my C partition to my D
partition so when I format my C partition I can move them back to save me
from downloading them all again, if so what folders / files do I move and
how do I re-install them, or is there an easier way
Regards
Dave

Once installed, XP updates only need to be reinstalled if you completely
rebuild your system.

What you see are the instructions necessary to remove the updates. Thus,
you can move the folders wherever you wish so long as can put them back in
the correct location (which is where they are now).
