Wife and I bought bicycles today. If anyone is interested I will post links to the models we bought.
It sucks we can't ride them for a few more weeks. Well we can ride them now but the weather is $hitty.
Winter is a good time to buy because we got last year's models on sale.

She wouldn't like it if I posted her picture.
I don't understand why you would ask.

They're Norco bicycles.
My wife chose the Yorkville comfort hybrid.
<A HREF="http://www.norco.com/bikes/2004bikes/yorkville.htm" target="_new">Yorkville</A> It cost us $325 cdn.
I chose the Rideau comfort hybrid.
<A HREF="http://www.norco.com/bikes/2004bikes/rideau.htm" target="_new">Rideau</A> It cost us $389 cdn.

The bikes would be classified as entry level recreational use. We saved about 30% buying last year's models.

Nice. Good level of equipment on them, Alu frames are always good. Shimano EZ fire shifters, V brakes (my personal preference. Less hassle than hydraulic). Bit surprised they're both rigid. Thought they might have front suspension, most bikes do now. However, on entry level front sus forks tend to be cheap sh!t, so you did the right thing.

nice, niking is good. bike to work, bike home, bike to the pub, bike home drunk, end up in a bush or under a truck after wobbling across the road.

i have a moutain bike but stuck on a rack to the back, and put on smooth tyres so i kinda retired it from the hard core stuff, i guess it is an entry level rectrational bike now :P

:D :D :D :D

now have fun riding.

When I lived at home, I used to be out cycling all the time. My Dad bought a bike too, so he used to join me on a Sunday morning. We'd go out for a few hours and then on the way back home, just happen to pass a pub. One quick pint soon lead to 5, and we'd be wobbling along the canal towpath like a 5 year-old without stabilisers for the first time. God knows how many times we nearly ended up in the canal.

All that exercise undone by 5 pints of Guinness! Tremendous.

I'm not sure if the link worked. The first time I clicked on the link it took me to the International index htm page.
I chose Europe and I was forwarded to a page that displays the 2005 Stumpjumper. Is that what you wanted me to see.
If it is that bike has a dandy front suspension system.
