They will eventually reply, but it will take a while, and after you pay
they'll eventually send your item, but it could take months.
I paid for a bunch of parts in early June and am still waiting -- but I know
this is typical for them so I'm not concerned. Just assume it will be a
very very slow process to get what you need, and don't bother worrying or
fretting or complaining about it ;-)
If you can find another source for what you need, then I would strongly urge
you to buy elsewhere, but sometimes Bear Cave is the only source and you
just have to deal with them on their terms and their timeframe. On the plus
side, they're nice guys and they're honest. Just slow beyond all
comprehension.

Couldn't have said it better, Randy. What seems to work with me is to
send the same Email everyday. They usually reply within a week. Now,
the shipping is a different story.
I've been waiting for a replacement WW mountain, for a defective one I
got, for some time now. Thank goodness my WW restoration isn't planned
until Sept. :-)

I gave up trying to order a set of Fathom plastics from them, and
recently just got a set from Mike at Mad Amusements....they are the
same sets that Bearcave sells. Mike seems to charge a bit more (maybe
$20?), but you'll have them in less than a week..isn't that worth it?
I don't think he has them listed on the site by the way..just e-mail
him.

I had the same problem every time I ordered from them but they were the only
ones who had a translite I needed . I pay-pal'd them the wrong amount and
they returned the pay-pal with an email saying I should resend the pay-pal
in the proper amount asap as they already shipped the item . Unfortunately
it took me a few months and many emails from them before I could rectify the
situation and send them the proper amount , I felt terrible about it too :-)

best way to deal with bearcave......
Order the part you need. Go to a hardware store and buy a 2x4x4. Have
a close friend smack you as hard as they can in the head with it. You
will hopefully forget about your order. Every 2-3 weeks, if you
remember, repeat the process until the part shows. If you notice that
you are no longer able to function properly cease this procedure and
get a new hobby.
