They always get delays.1 year for desktop on time to 6 month for server for intel ibm sun alpha pa-risc.................to infinite.To think AMD got close on node size nay i dont think so but so far i am right on any prediction.

This is NOT a new delay. It's a delay announced a few weeks ago by AMD, when they moved the release of 90nm CPUs from Q2 to Q3. Nothing has changed since then. Even in the story reported from EE Times that created all this fuss, Q3 is still mentioned as the target by AMD for 90nm CPUs. Anyway, having in mind all the problems Intel is having with Prescott, I believe that it wouldn't be a problem for AMD moving 90 nano to Q3, as long as they keep to this schedule and there is no further delay.

I guess it's a possitive sign though the fact that AMD is already having samples of 90nm Opterons up and running already.
