Not bad at all. It's a big step forward, but it still doesn't take away the need for more native-running IA-64 applications.

According to intel there 1000 software in the market and a others 1000 coming.Experience with IA-64 compiler will also grow.

The hick in the benchmark they use ICC6 it put the native a bit slower.
