How Do I re install XP HOme without disk

I don't have install disks. I have the I386 folder. It has the setup.exe
inside,the file version id 5.1.2600.1106. It called the windows NT set
up executable. I have the windows tag on the computer side with product
key. Also it is SP1 so will updating solve this problem. I really don't
want to access the internet until I solve this problem

So basically you have a pirated version of xp.....

Hi,

From within the working installation, run winnt32.exe from the I386 folder,
then do an in-place upgrade. From outside, run winnt.exe.

Please put your glasses on and reread the post.Nothing states it's an
illeagal OS. You should not go around and accuse posters of this.

Thanks rick,I am just trying to fix someones computer[boy was it full of
junk] and either they forgot or don't have the disks when the father
gave me the computer from his son.

Thanks Rick,I didn't need to run these exe's. I had a problem with IE6
connecting. Probably caused by spyware or adware. A winsock fix fixed
this conectivity.So I was able to use the Windows update and am now all
updated.
