I was overclocking a little on my Athlon XP 2400+. I was keeping a close eye on the temperatures. In Asus Probe it said my CPU was 48C (118 F), but in the BIOS it said my CPU was 64C (149 F). Which temp is correct? Also, what other programs are a good indication of your actual CPU temps on the diode?

Probe is notoriously inaccurate. Also Asus has some boards with bad BIOS values. Try Motherboard Monitor 5, if you do a search for MBM5 you'll find the download site.
