Hi!

Suddenly, I got a serious problem with my Epson Stylus DX8400. When turning the printer on, its LCD-screen shows:

"Paper is jammed in the printer. Turn off the printer, open the scanner unit, remove paper. See your documentation."

It's weird, because I can not find any paper in the asscessable areas, and I can not bypass this message. So, I guess there's some censor inside the printer giving me this "false error"? I've tried turning on/off numerous times with no help.

What should I do?

After doing some research (Googling), I think it has something to do with the paper sensor. It must be cleaned or something. I just don't know where it is located.

No, I even tried to open the printer, but I couldn't get it open. I guess Epson has tried to make it impossible to disassemble.

Now the printer is in basement and I got a new one - Canon this time.
