When you say such processor is manufactured using 65/90/130 nm process, which component are you talking about?? Im pretty much sure is not transistor gate length (which is smaller then that, ain't it??)...

"The 90-nanometer designation refers to the width of the smallest circuit lines on the chip. The actual features on 90-nanometer chips can be quite smaller, down to around 45 nanometers for some of the smallest structures on Intel's chips, said Risto Puhakka, vice president of VLSI Research Inc. in Santa Clara, California, in an e-mail interview."

"Some mice have two buttons. Macintosh has one. So it's extremely difficult to push the wrong button." - Apple ad. circa 1984.

It dosnt matter if 65 nm or 90 nm.Compare the Core 2 Duo E4300 vs Pentium 4 672.The Pentium have 169,000,000 transistors and Core 2 Duo have only 167,000,000 transistors. So and Pentium is 90 nm so its not that much matter...
