A computer is a consumer durable and in most jurisdictions that's likely to mean that you should be able to expect it to last a great deal longer than any warranty period. Most written warranties include the phrase "this does not affect your normal consumer rights". Unless you have been negligent in your treatment of the computer, exercise your rights. anonymous1 a b D Laptop April 13, 2010 5:16:53 PM Do you have a volt meter to check the charger?
