I'm looking for some opinions on a good quiet heatsink for my system. I have a p4 3.0 Ghz HT (800 Mhz FSB) on an Asus P4C800 Deluxe board. I don't overclock, I'm just looking for a quieter solution...and I don't really wanna shell out for a water cooling system.....well, yet.

Get the Thermalright SP94 with a zalman 92mm fan. That will keep your cpu very cool and quiet.

I suggest ZALMAN CNPS7000A-ALCu

Silent mode 21 dB
Normal mode 25 dB

Look for a HSF that combines MASSIVE copper with 92cm fan. Previous suggestions are an example.

But don't put into the refrigerator :lol:
