Picked up a Cactus Canyon in a local trade. The gentleman purchased the pin
NIB and had it set up in his home the entire time. Has less than 400 plays
and is nearly flawless. All the boxes/packing materials and paperwork,
including his original receipt is included. It is number 905 which puts it
near the end of the run. The inspection stickers all seem to be personally
initialed or signed.

If you ever wanted to slide a Cactus out of the box, here you go.

Game is located in York Nebraska.

$11,500.00 + shipping.

Arrgggghhh. Another near-NIB game with the coin door decal mis-aligned.

Still a beautiful game.

You should have just called it an even $12G and included free shipping.
Personally, I would want it sealed, NIB for that price. Good luck
finding your buyer.

The price guide is good for qty made and misc details... thats about
it, IMHO. They are out of touch.

LOL, I got a kick out of the above! Seems the price is not unreasonable at
all these days. It's really hard to say anymore, that's why I haven't picked
up Price Guide in a while.

Bah, you're just mad because they seem to be redefining what "properly
aligned" means. Maybe it's *yours* that's mis-aligned. ;-)

I gotta take a look at mine when I get back in town. It's HUO with
original decals, too.

Price may go up depending on what the one on Ebay does, so you better make
the deal now while the price is low.................... :)

Robert; Mike here. The allignment on the cabinet decals is all over the
place from the factory. They just did not worry about it. I recently
had 3 Monster Bash pins here while I was doing the cab decals on mine.
I looked all 3 over very closely, and all 3 had different allignments
on the decals, by a good bit. Honestly, if someone does a very nice
install on the decals, such as you do, the finished product is much
nicer than they ever were from the factory. Plus, when you remove the
factory decals, you get to see all the half ass patch jobs that they
did at the factory. I am working on a friends MB right now, and when I
removed the cabinet decals, the lower cabinet had Medieval Madness
decals underneath, and the backbox had decals from a different machine
that I could not make out. The cabinet had a lot of damage underneath.
Apparently is was originally a Medieval Madness pin, that got damage to
the cabinet at the factory, and they set it aside, then patched it up,
re - decaled it as a Monster Bash. This might have been common on the
very late games, as they were trying to save money. I know that my MB
now that it is finished with new cabinet decals, clearcoated playfield
from playfield renovations, backbox sanded, and painted, and so on is
definately nicer than the game ever was from the factory. I know that
some people like their games all orignal, and that is fine, but when
someone like yourself does a complete resto, the game is actually nicer
than brand new. Mike.

I have seen this many times. A MB I saw last week at Chris' shop had CP
backbox decals under the MB decals. After stripping, sanding, bondo, prime
and paint, and re-application the end result is almost always better than
the factory did it. And people wonder how a machine can be "better than new
in box" - It is possible if no stone is left unturned.

My WPC board tester is made of *cut up* Dr. Who cabinet sides.
