I want to know simply who the hell they did it. How did they get a core i7 920 chip into their laptop and on top of that keep it cool.

I don't know about you guys but I have a weird feeling that we will we see some heat issues coming from this one.

I don't think Apple would ever consider putting a 920 into their notebooks.

That doesn't mean anything. They're still mobile CPUs. Mobile i7 != desktop i7. There's no way that's a desktop chip.

What is the difference between that 620M and the 720QM.

Just want to get my facts right.

The 720 is a quad-core CPU, while the 620 is only dual.

Edit: I believe the 720 also includes Hyper-threading.

They both include Hyperthreading. So the 720QM is a Four Core/ Eight Thread CPU @ 1.6ghz. The 620M is a 2 core/ 4 thread CPU at 2.66ghz

That's funny...the intel processor spec page doesn't list HT for the 620...

Lostandwandering's link shows the 620M with HT. It also has integrated graphics.. which the 720 doesn't.. oO

Yeah, that's what I saw too but i found it hard to believe. Hence why I went digging. lol
