I have a couple of p-233 laptops that i would like to install larger hard drives to. When i did this with desktops i would just use western digital's ez bios or maxtors utility . My question is : Can this be done with laptops also ? Do they function the same as desktops in this regard ? Thanks in advance for any help any has. More about : larger hard drive donovands April 14, 2010 2:04:13 PM Most laptops have only a single drive bay, so you'd have to swap the HDD. In most cases, you just remove the old drive, plug in the new drive and are good to go. Of course, the new drive will require installation of OS, drivers and so forth. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
