I am problems saving downloaded files in windows 7.
The files show as having been downloaded (both in Firefox and IE) but when I look in the destination folder - nothing.
Even searching for the downloaded file shows nothing.
I've tried saving to the Desktop, Dowload folder, newly created folders and directly to a USB stick - same issue.
No warning windows come up and I can copy and paste files between all directories.
Am I missing some permissions somewhere?
A second (maybe related problem) is that attached files in Windows Live emails can't be opened for editing with Word.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
