Win7 starts showing C drive window

Win7 upgrade started opening with the C drive contents window. After a few days it stopped and opened normally. This morning I'm back to starting up with the C drive being displayed. Startup contains two small utilities only which have been there since day 1.

Any ideas?

Open msconfig and look to see if Windows Explorer is in the Startup Group, if it is, you should be able to remove it if your choose to do so.
