Hi,
I set my pc to hibernate for the first time last night and when I tried to
switch it on again today, the computer won't boot.

It does the post screens as usual but then freezes as soon as "Resuming
Windows..." (with the broken white bars at the bottom which would usually
become a solid white bar) appears. Pressing F8 has no effect - the computer
seems totally frozen.

I tried using my install cd to repair the installation - it progresses as
normal to the first reboot then freezes again at the very start of the boot.
I have also tried chkdsk, fixboot and fixmbr in the recovery console, again
to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Phil
