I have a LG Flatron L1730S Monitor that has stopped turning on the other day, and im suspecting that the power board in it needs replacing. The Power board is a Lien Chang AI-006.PCB
As I live in New Zealand it is difficult to come across parts like this and i dont really want to order something all the way from the US or UK.
Ive done a bit of research through google and it seems a few others have had similar problems and that a way of fixing the monitor is to replace several of the transistors on the power board.
People have said stuff like:
"change the capacitors,680 uF 25 v for 680 uF 35 v and the mosfet"
"Change out C202- 680 uF 25 Volt electrolytic capacitor. Replace with 25 volt or higher. Observe proper polarity when replacing cap: (-) goes to the side with the black mark, check old cap before removing it to see. I just fixed the same monitor today."
The only thing is that I have no idea which capacitors are which.
Could someone please give me a better explanation on what to do?
