From bw:

I have XP computer with MSN Outlook Express-6 .
I don't know how it started, but recently with every e-mail I receive,
on my "From- To- Subject :" bar, a paperclip icon pops-up .
The icon wants to store the received file to "My Documents"

How can I stop the paperclip from showing up?
Will appreciate any help you can provide.

The paper clip icon indicates that the message has one or more files
attached.

If you have Read all messages in plain text option set, then every HTML
message that you get comes with an attachment. This attachment contains
everything that is in the HTML message.

The attachment will have a name similar to ATT00290.htm , it always starts
with ATT has some number and ends in .htm.

Quite often all the attachment contains is text, depends on the message.

Do not try to open the HTML attachments.
