nice to meet you,expert.i am a chinese,and want to buy a computer.But I don't know how well are the P4 2.5c?It is more expensive than AMD ath 2500_.My plan is that:AMD ath 2500 plus,Maxtor 7200 80G,kingmax 256 DDR400,Redeoum 9600.I don't know whether they can work together very well.which mainboard will be the best?I am a super gamer and need my comp have a super function!My English is very poor,please guess and imagine

They should work ok. For a decent mobo, try the abit nf7 version 2.0.

You sound like you are going to be building a good system.

The Intel 2.6c with an Abit IS7-E motherboard would be a good combo

or

The Ath XP 2500+ with pretty much any decent brand name nForce2 Motherboard would be a good choice.

The 2.6c will be slightly faster but costs more.

I know that less popular (though usualt better) brands like AMD and ATI are more expensive outside the US than brands like Intel and Nvidia, so if the price difference ain't significant, prefer the 2.6C. Also, the Radeon 9600 Pro is worth the extra cash and is a good choice if the Radeon 9800 Pro and non Pro (never get SE) are too expensive for you.

I know what everyone's been wondering - 2^33634943-1 IS NOT PRIME. Now, wasn't that worth running <A HREF="http://www.mersenne.com" target="_new">Prime95</A> for a month to know?

For Intel buy 2.6C that will give you nice OC to 3.2. Mobo Abit IS7. Ram OCZ PC4000EL Copper. Vid card 9600Pro. If you have the money buy 9800Pro since you are gaming.
