Rechargeable batteries for the cordless stuff, more case fans, and really expensive speakers. You could even throw in ram sinks, watercooling kits, and glowing items. Anything on the list that you purchase and don't use can be donated to me.

whoaaa nicee

damn .. 10000rpm HDD .. =D

you know, you could just get two 80gb/8mcache Hdds and Raid 0 them.. would prolly be cheaper, and produce less heat (unless that raptor is a cool HDD) and be quite a bit faster

but other than that.. w00t, nice job

The seek time is what concerns me tho, I mean w/ 7.2K rpm raid, u still have slowdown b/c seek times. I think the raptor should be fine by itself, but I do have a hdd cooler I'll give to my friend anyway.

About that, I built a system for this guy some time ago and used it, seemed to work very well. At the same time I have heard a few reports on these boards of the mx duo doing weird sh!t, does urs seem to be ok in games (fast response is necessary) and high precision stuff?

Aren't very concerned with upgrading, are you?

Not so sure how long the Newcastle A64's will go, probably no more than 2.4Ghz if you ever decide to upgrade your system. Don't forget, it's either a Socket 754 or 940, next year with PCI Express and all the fancy new equipment won't be till Socket 939 most likely.

Not to put down your setup, but why not save $100-200 and get an Nforce2 mobo, 2500+ barton, and Swiffie/Alpha heatsink, oc to 2.3-2.4ghz?

Might consider changing out the PSU for something more reliable like an Antec/Enermax/Enlight. Schweet monitor though ;)

 I run my AthlonXfx at 7.65 Exahertz

Don't care about upgradability really, I mean this system needs to last for 2 years on its own AT LEAST. The price for nforce 2 + 2500 = ~$200. The price for the proc + mobo = ~ $380. Not too big of a difference imo.

The ZITHROMAX I am taking to remove blood from my left lung after a cracked rib has added girth to my penise and another side effect is the tendons in my right and left wrists are getting sore.

erm... OTHER forum dood.

You seem to have turned a bit more nonsensical than usual lately. Give me some of the "ZITHROMAX". Sounds like good stuff

Does look like a nice system, but I reckon I'd still go for a nicely Overclocked P4 system [2.6 @~3.4]. I'd probably still get a nice CRT instead of the LCD too.. But that's just me  .

My only concern would be the ram, you may want to stick with something branded. Got a real nice pc there wouldn't want it to be unstable because of the choice of memory. As a side I'd recommend lite-on for the dvd and cdrw drives they're reliable and work well. You'll really like the duo, its one of the best wireless kb/m combos around.

Dude, this is why I fvckin posted, to ask. Quite playing games- if u have something meaningful to say, say it. I have read the reviews and the procs seem fine. Are you just spewing sh!t and being an idiot? You seem to be the only person here who is saying the athlon 64 won't work.

That raptor drive is nice. I've had one running for 2 weeks or so now and it just smokes. Also, the cordless MX duo is a great key/mouse combo, much better than I expected.

Some day I'll be rich and famous for inventing a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet.

Could well be, I'm just not real familiar with them nor do I know the timings they use, nor how well they oc if needed... and unless it's super tight budget generally I try to avoid 'unknown' quantities, not worth the headache.
