I have tried everything I know. Please Help!

An office I went to has mostly xp pro sp 3 computers and one server running server 2000. All pcs are on the same domain. The problem I am having is with printers. When I install a printer on a computer on the network and share it, other computers can connect to it and I think everything is fine. A couple hours later or overnight goes by and the next day the computers don't have access to the printer share. What can I do? I have tried everything I could think of with rights, file and printer sharing, etc. Please help!

What kind of anti-virus are the computers/server running? I'd check the settings there in regard to print/file sharing to see if that solves the issue.
