im new to this so please forgive me of any errors in this post. I just got the blue screen of death and i have had it for a few days now it comes up at random times. i purchased a new processor after i got the BSoD and i uninstalled my video card but now when ever i insert my video card i get blue screened and i also have an ethernet controller error ( there are no drivers) please help me.

You will need to post some more info like pc specs for us to help with your problem.

You have two separate problems here I think. The original blue screen of death and the Video blue screen.
Try running memtest86 for at least three passes to test the memory and boot into safe mode and completely remove your previous video driver.
Microsoft update will often find Ethernet controller drivers otherwise you will have to go to the Manufacturer of your motherboard web site and download the driver or obtain them from your motherboards CD (you did install the chipset drivers?)
