lethal weapon 3 (LW3) beacon problem

My LW3 beacon used to work fine , but when I last played the game, it
jsut didn't work anymore. Checked fuses and wires and they seem to be
alright. Anything else I need to check?
What and where should I look.

There should be a TIP 122 transistor on the CPU board for that light.
