Hi, I'm looking for a reliable site that would ship abroad the P3 to Tualatin adapter and maybe also a P3 Tualatin, know of good one (a place you have experience with)?

Get the tualatin from googlegear...they have free shipping. You are getting a tualatin celeron right?

http://www.tcwo.com/

Unfortunatelly their shipping is expensive though, since they ship via FedEx. Nevertheless, I have received all my orders from them within 5-6 days after placing the order (I live in Eastern Europe).

I'm not sure if a Celoron or a P3, the 512KB cache looks really nice... Is there any difference between them besides the cache?

the celeron has a little bit more cache latency...but once you overclock it doesnt matter...

I will shun you if you spend the money on the piii-s...its the same price as a 2.6ghz p4!

I wasn't talking about that, I meant that I wouldn't be able to fit the adapter you linked me since my mobo is socket 370 and the adapter is socket 1 -> socket 370T.

I was just wondering. Instead of buying an adapter and a new P3 Tualatin, wouldn't it be cheaper if you simply bought a cheap mobo & a Barton 2500+ ?

Compgeeks sold the adpaters for $8 last time I looked. If you can't get them to send it abroad, have it sent to me and I'll ship it.

Correct! And don't forget about better performance. But changing mobos requires reinstalling WinXP and I can't do that right now.
