Windows 7 - Not Genuine After Clone Disk

Dear Tom,

I replaced the old 1T disc with a new 2T disc by clone it.

Several days later, windows 7 -Not Genuine pop up.

Please advise how to fix it. :o

    Please tell me the steps to get the product key?

    My PC is DELL Studio and my windows 7 is an embedded version (without disc) .

  3. should have a sticker on the bottom of the laptop. Or on the documentation with the laptop.
  4. The certificate of authenticity should be on the bottom of the laptop. Write down the key and input it to activate Windows.

    Go to control panel/system
    At the bottom, you will see some options for system activation.

    Does it not have a place to change the product key?

    If not, check in the bios to see that the system date is accurate, and consistent with the date in windows.
    MS will check and determine that your copy is attempring to fool the system by constantly changing the system date to get the free 30 day usage.
  9. Right-click on computer and go to properties. On the bottom of the properties page is a place where you can activate Windows.
