Problems recovery windows 7 hp pavilion dv6

I have a HP pavilion DV6 windows 7 that came with back up discs and I cannot get tem to work! How do I do This?

Make sure in the BIOS that you have the CD/DVD drive to be the first boot device. You may also be able to bet to the boot menu using the F9 key. If you get tot he boot menu have it boot from your CD/DVD drive.

also try pressing f11 at start up to see if you have a recovery partition
