New Internal Hard Drive
Last response: in Laptops & Notebooks
Hello,I replaced my dead 160gb hard drive in my Acer Aspire One. It will not boot up. "Check cable Connection..! No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key." There is no boot disc or ability to have one since there is no cd drive in the netbook. Any suggestions other than "you shoulda bought a Mac!!??

You'll want to get (or borrow) external USB DVD drive.
Or (if your netbook supports booting from USB flash drives) you could make yourself a bootable USB flash drive and install enough tools there to make the new disk bootable. bootable USB thumb drive for Windows 7
