Well, the thing about reviewers being under NDA is that I would still have expected to hear about someone having
Prescotts but "not being able to give any specifics because of NDA". Yet, there aren't even any rumors of NDA activity. There is no way that Intel's control is this tight; bottom line -- there are no normally clocked Prescotts out there.

Why are there no benchmarkings from the prescott ? the a64 had a few before it was launched.
Prescott is shipping, richt ?

Prescott gets launched February 2nd. I wouldn't expect to see it at places like newegg.com till late February anyway. Benchmarks should come then.

Damn Rambus.

I don't think Intel has any production samples available yet.

Why are there some prescott samples in Europe?

They had samples almost 2 years ago, problem is the process technology seems to require much effort to master.

I won't be that much excited with Prescott's release this February because I think it won't be revolutionary. There are very few architecture changes like SSE3, 1MB L2 and an improved HT. 90 nm I think will be a though transition this year for many semiconductor companies.
