Since Bearcave's web site says he is no longer involved with the BBB
project lets here what you have to say about the games progerss or lack
of progress. I personally did not buy one but I know a couple of people
who did and I dont want them to get screwed.

I don't see any immediate need for them to respond here. People
involved in the BBB project know roughly where things stand as far as
progress.

I hope the difficulties can still be resolved privately. Both Steve
and Bob have put a great deal of time and effort into the BBB project
already. It would be unfortunate for both sides if their role should
end like this.

I think the idea that the BBB project is dead is a bit premature at
this point.

did they actually have to front cash, or was one promised to them for
their help on the project?

if they paid the coin, then that puts them in the same boat as the rest
of the buyers. if they were promised one for their help on the project,
you might see their name being removed from the list.

either way, gene better get his ass in gear and find some new saps to
take over the project and i am guessing with the payscale he is
offering, there aren't many takers.

i just think back to when there was talk of stern building these
machines, if there was any truth to that, gene sure did drop the ball
by not having them do it.

if all the parts are in stock, some people who placed orders would
probably see their machines a lot faster if they could just get the
kits and build it themselves.

while the bbb guys get to wait around for their machines, people
waiting on new parts being made get to wait around even longer :-(

Well, if I was close enough, he could certainly
sign *this* sap up for the job.

Money isn't the entire reason in my case. I want
to see this project through, too.

I doubt you are going to see them air out their laundry in public. BBB
"investors" who had access to the forum (and some who were not
investors ;) knew of the status.

There is nothing new here other than two guys who were the project now
leaving the project. Wait....maybe that is big news....

Last I checked, Bearcave had a BBB on order. At a minimum, I believe
that they are still customers, and will certainly want to see the BBB
project reach final completion.
