well, nobody is reading the sound card boards, so i posted this one in here..

is the price difference worth it between the SB audigy-2 ZS 7.1, platinum 7.1 and platinum pro 7.1 combined with the creative gigaworks S750? any suggestions?

Get the simple non-pro, non-platinum. The other features are only good for showing off and a few extra ports (none of which I would find useful when using the gigaworks S750). The Platinums actually have poorer sound quality, too.

If you are into gaming, you might want to take a look at the Gamer version, comes with Halo, Jedi Knights, Tomb Raider: AOD, Splinter Cell, and Raven Shield. Only 40ish dollars more than the non-gamer version (at newegg at least).
