Can't Create Multiple Usernames

For some reason, when I try to create more usernames from my original
admistrative master username, the ones created do not work, load slowly, have
pop-ups saying that the default username must be used, will not save any
changes, and does not allow me to change the background. Though I can create
usernames, I cannot USE them. My username works perfectly, so I'm not sure
why the others won't work. Thanks for any help.
