Hi everybuddy

I really want to buy a new laptop by Monday 26/4/2010 ! My MAX budget is about 1050$ .

My uses are : Internet , designing programs such as photoshop, Gaming (PES 2009 and call of duty), School using (assigments).

I like : to change the laptop location every now and then , good looking laptop, at least 3 hours battery.

one of the choices I foun is the asus A42JR , with 4gb ram , 1gb ATI Graffic card, 14inch screen , 500GB Hard Disk and new processer I5 .

I really would like to hear your comments and opinions.

thanks,

I'm doing this off the FAQ you filled out in the wrong thread. All of the following are 15'' laptops, below $1100 that will be better than the Asus A42 (the ATI 5470 is not going to be good for gaming).

Acer Aspire AS5740($799): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115732

Lenovo IdeaPad Y550 ($950): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834146613

MSI GX640 ($1099): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152191

This 14'' Asus is worth looking at as well, though the Technology is a little older:
Asus N81($849.99): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220634

This is a link to a sick laptop that is probably way out of your budget but please check it out anyways. When you get to the link click "Design your EON18"

My opinion is don't get a sony if you want to game.

Either get an asus or even stick the old but still dominant Gateway FX 7805u, which you can find way under your budget, and its able to play any game out. (currently playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on mine)

EDIT: This laptop is probably the best deal for your money, posted by lostandwandering above.

MSI GX640 ($1099): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152191

^ I'd say go ahead and get that MSI :)
