The guys here in Atlanta pool together once or twice a year, and get
them for about $18 each from a glass company.

And what local glass shop would that be? Might be worth a drive
across the metroplex.

Hey, if your father owns a glass business you ought to ask him what it
would take to reproduce p2k glasses with a gradient reflective tint.

$12 - a guy who's kid is on the basketball team I coach owns a door
company. He also has a GTB Volcano I gotta shop out for him...my
payment will be in Playfield Glass instead of $$$ (so all of my games
will have nice and purty PF glass).

He will end up selling the GTB Sys80 Volcano (trust me on this one). I
think its in good shape (as I saw it one night in his garage) other
than the plastic set has lots of cracks and chips. If you're looking
to purchase this game (its just south of Louisville KY) let me know and
I'll hook you up with him - perhaps you can get before I shop it out
and save some money.

$20 per piece from Betsons. Easiest way is to buy by the case
(5)sheets.

In California, whenever you order tempered glass from a manufacturer,
the seams are automatically "polished" as it goes thru the heating
machine which tempers the glass. Polished being taking the sharp edges
off the side of the glass. It seems to me, you are ordering glass that
isn't tempered. Thus the glazer has to "polish" the edges with a belt
sander to take away the sharpness. That's where the labor comes in.
If you are getting 21 X 43 tempered 3/16" glass for $13 then you're
getting the deal of the century. Glass shops here can't get it for
nearly that price. Welcome to SoCal.

I bought one about a year ago for $50 locally (Indianapolis). Does
Betson ship if you order about 5 pieces? Anyone else in Indy know a
better price? I actually need one currently.
