My cpu runs at about 50C idle. Whenever I play a game (i.e. Generals Zero Hour) I crash about halfway through the game and my cpu temp is about 60C-65C. I have a MSI Neo-2LS with a P4 2.4C cpu, 2xCorsair XMS512PC3200C2, Radeon 9800 pro ultimate w/zalman heatsink+fan, and a CoolerMaster ATC201C-SXK with all 6 fans working. Can anyone tell me if there is a bottleneck or do I just have a heating issue? Any help is appreciated.
ps-heatsink and fan on cpu is stock and i just put a layer of artickool paste on it with no change...

IIRC the stock P4 HSF comes with a pre-applied thermal pad. Did you add the artickool paste in addition to this, or did you thouroughly clean the CPU and heatsink before applying the paste?

The CPU is burning pretty hot for a stock HSF. Did you remove the plastic cover from the thermal paste? Try to remount the HSF and remove the paste and put some artic silver 5 on it. Also what is the Vcore setting?
