small but good 2.1 system < $100

I'm looking for good set of 2.1 speakers where the speaker size is under 6" and under $100. I need them this size to fit into a certain space and unfortunately most tech specs don't list speaker dimensions. I'm hoping someone can give me some suggestions or point me in the right direction.

Below are a couple of sets that appear to meet my size/cost criteria are, but I have no clue which is the better set. I would primarily be using them for gaming, videos, and music. I'm not limited to these 3 choices, just the ones that I have found so far that meet my size/price criteria. Feel free to provide other suggestions if available.

i've had the best luck with logitech's offerings. the z series is ideal but the small boxy ones arent too bad for the price. i remember the original creature speakers from JBL getting only soso reviews.

is space really that tight that an 8" speaker can not fit?

It appears that the best/only option from Logitech is the Z313, and I'm not sure how it compares to the others that I have mentioned (it's cheaper, that can be a pro and a con).

As for the space... I primarily do not use my desktop speakers much any more. I usually prefer or have to use my headphones. I also got a new desk with a shelf and since my speakers aren't used as much I would like to get some that don't take up so much space and would like to get ones that can fit under the shelf on my desk (less than 6").

you can ignore my reference to space above... i was looking at the subwoofer height instead of the speaker height...doh!

the z313 is an excellent speaker for $50. we bought this for a family member this xmas and from what he has told me it works great. i don't think you will be disapointed. for the price its value is hard to beat.
