HI THERE,I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD CONNECT THE ROLAND SI-24 SOUND INTERFACE TO MY ROLAND VS 2480 TO BE ABLE TO RECORD 24 TRACKS SIMULTANEOUSLY.

Hello Bruck,
The answer is simple, no. The VS2480 can record 16 tracks at once and no more. The only way to record 24 tracks is to slave a VSR 880 (an 8 track stand alone recorder with R-Bus connection) to the VSR 2480.
You can use the SI-24 as an extra 8 channel microphone AD converter via the R-Bus connection to the VS 2480. That way you can connect 16 (phantom powered) microphones to the VS2480.
