I burned a number of CDs on my computer where they sounded perfect but when I play it in my car they skip as if they are scratched. The CDs are brand new and not scratched. I burned the CDs ate a proper low speed. Any ideas?
Cheapest and easiest attempted fix: clean the laser lens in the car. Discwasher sells a disc w/brushes and a bottle of fluid. Don't know the current price, but it lasts a long time. As I remember, mine cost about $10 in 1990. Same kit still in use today. Has cleared skips and distortion on 3 different players.
