My monitor keeps shivering the display when I restart my machine.
However there's nothing wrong with the monitor display when I log on in
Windows.
I'm 100% sure its not a problem with trojans, virus etc..
My machine runs smothly in every aspect but at restarting, during set up it
keeps on happening this visual problem.
Is it something to worry about ?

You sure this isn't just the monitor degaussing?

Probably nothing to worry about.

You don't really say what type you're using, but
I had some Sony LCD displays that spent about 10
seconds auto adjusting to the BIOS POST screens
whenever I did a reboot. Sounds like that could be what
you're describing.

Thanks for the attention of both of you, Matt Gibson and V Green.
Actually after reading your posts, my search was minimized by the monitor
display issues, however I did updated my bios before trying to find what the
problem was.
After doing so, the problem persisted, so I went directly to my monitor
displaying search issue.
My monitor is an "old" Samsung SyncMaster 753v.
I don't have its manual anymore, so I downloaded it at Samsung website and
followed the configuration instructions.
As Matt had mentioned the degaussing issue I tryied so but it didn't worked
out.
I went to the troubleshooting session of the manual and read something about
the magnetic field around the monitor saying to set apart any device as such
which is set too close to the monitor.
As I had recently moved my Power Supply Stabilizer closer to the monitor I
decided to try to move it back apart from it.
The problem now is solved.
Hope this post can help further issues related to monitor displaying problems.
Thanks a lot Matt Gibson and V Green
Best regards
