so i am buying an m11x and am wondering if i should upgrade to 8gb over 4gb. Will i notice any performance gain at all? for web browsing/instant messenging/school work?

also, will i see a difference in gaming? typically these games are before 2008 with the exception that i want to play starcraft 2 and diablo 3, will the 8gb make a difference?

How much it costs ?
The difference isn't noticeable in almost every app/game so if it costs more than $100 then no its not worth it

8GB will be unlikely to improve the performance of your given activities. Should you program or use memory eating programs (graphic drawing, photoshop, 3d), then you might want more memory.

Also, get an 11 inch screen in front of you before you choose it. It's smaller than you think.
