Dell compatible keyboards

Hello,
I have a Dell Optiplex 755 and need to know if a HP KU=0841 keyboard is compatible or do I need to change the driver or other software? I have them connected now but the letter q keeps running amuck.

There are no keyboard drivers unless you have special media keys that need to be mapped. If the letter Q is messing up, try a different keyboard.

your q key is either broken or stuck.

if the key keeps repeating (qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq....etc) then it is stuck. try jiggling it or jabbing it down a few times to losen up any grime you might have got under it.

if the key is dead it is most likely broken and there isn't much you can do besides to replace the keyboard.
