Windows 7 Favorites Toolbar missing

i have not got a favourites toolbar

Are you talking about the taskbar at the bottom of the screen? If so you can go into the control panel and open the "Taskbar and Start Menu" item. Make sure that the checkbox labeled "Auto-hide the taskbar" is NOT checked. Click "Apply" and the task bar will pop out from where it is hidden.
