My playfield glass broke into 10.000 little pieces, so I need a new one. If
someone could post the exact measures of the playfield glass (OLD STERN WIDE
BODY MACHINE, like Iron Maiden, Flight 2000, etc.)... this would help me to
get a new one made...
I found out, that original glass is "tempered" . Does this mean that it is
saftey glass or that it is specailly hardened (without tension)?

The measurements I have from Stern's Free Fall are:
45 and 3/4 by 24 and 9/16
Of course please double check your game to see if that seems right.
Personally, I don't bother with getting it tempered or having the edges
ground, that's what comes with the game though. Tempered means it will
break into 10,000 small peices. Safety glass has a thin membrain
inside like the windshield of your car. Stays together (for the most
part) when broken.
