Are there any other ways of buying things over the internet other than credit cards, paypal(which you need a credit card to confirm i found out), check or money order?
Well, you're pretty much only left with cash or wiring the money, and those wouldn't work too well for the internet. Cash isn't secured (not that checks or MOs are, but they are more secure) and wiring costs money and the retailer would have to have a 'public' bank account to which you could wire the money. If you don't have a credit card, check or MO are the best options, IMO...too bad they take so bloody long to arrive and process.
Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.
An extra $20? That's practically nothing! You have no idea how irritating it is to surf online stores in the US like Newegg and then visit a local computer shop here in Europe for buying something. Prices are almost double
That's what I used.Paypal asked me for my account number, deposited a tiny some in my account and then asked me to tell them how much...took a week to get the account and get money in it.
